“HOLY FRIDAY” CHURCH

The Church of “Pious Paraschiva”, located on Holy Friday Street, no. 4, was built by the inhabitants of the city in 1861-1864 and consecrated in 1865. It was repaired in 1887, 1907 and 1928 and between 1932 – 1935 it was completely renovated and repainted, in pure Byzantine style, by the painters Dumitru and Gheorghe Belizarie.

Description
